Thank you for visiting this website which is controlled and operated by Filmbank Distributors Limited ( “ Filmbank”) , a company incorporated under the laws of England and Wales with company number 1021212 and with its registered address at Warner House, 98 Theobald’s Road, London, WC1X 8WB, England . Filmbank is a joint venture company owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment UK Limited and Columbia Pictures Corporation Limited (“we”, “us” and “our”). We understand your concerns regarding our use of your personal information. In line with this understanding, we have created this Policy to provide you with an explanation of the types of personal information that we are likely to collect via the Filmbank website (“Site”) and how we intend to use this information.
The types of personal information we collect and how we collect it
The extent of the personal information that we collect via the Site, will depend on how you choose to explore the Site and which functions you use.
Where you choose not to log in as an existing account holder (by providing your username and account number where prompted on our home page), personal information is only collected by us where you choose to submit it by completing one of our online forms. Although the type of information requested in each of these forms will vary, it is likely to include details such as your full name, organisation/society you represent, correspondence/invoice address, despatch address, telephone number, fax address, email address, details of another contact person, name of a trade reference and their contact details, purpose of any proposed screening/event and complaint/enquiry details. All the fields on these forms which are compulsory for you to complete are marked with an asterix. If you fail to provide this information, we will be unable to progress your request/enquiry.
On the other hand, where you log-in as an existing account holder, whether under a library single title screening, public video screening or content licence, we collect additional information concerning your account with us. This will include details of the films that you have ordered on behalf of your organisation/society and other related account information which we will collect through your use of your personal account page. Furthermore, through the use of cookies, we will be able to track your usage of the Site and the pages that you visit (see below).
Payments by credit or debit card
Payments by credit or debit card are processed using Netbanx Limited ("Netbanx"). When a payment is processed by Netbanx, the details of the credit or debit card are collected over a secure link. Filmbank does not collect any details and they are not made available to us. Netbanx will use the personal information you provide to process your online payment. The Netbanx payment processing service complies with the security requirements set out by the payment card industry (the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). If you wish to cancel your order or request a refund please refer to our refund/ cancellation policy. When you fill in your details on Filmbank’s online form, we receive an email with your name, contact information and the title of the licence you wish to purchase and/ or booking details. We do not see your credit/debit card details at any stage. Netbanx send us a secure order code to confirm payment has been successfully received and you will receive an email from Netbanx confirming the transaction.
Use of cookies on this site
We may also use “cookies”, which are small pieces of information that we send to your computer and which hold information about your browsing session.
On their own, cookies do not contain or reveal any personally identifiable information. However, if you choose to provide us with personally identifiable information (for instance by logging into your account), this information can be linked to the data stored in the cookies.
We use cookies to personalise your visit to the Site, to analyse traffic on the Site and to track user trends and patterns. This helps us to enhance your online experience and to improve the design and content of the Site to suit your needs. Generally, we will process your personal information when considering your application to open an account with us, when processing your orders and otherwise managing your account, when reviewing your feedback/survey responses, when responding to your enquiries and when collecting competition entries. Any personal information that we collect via our Site is stored on servers located both in the UK and in the USA. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Only the last four digits of your credit card number are revealed when confirming an order.

Who your personal information is shared with
Most of your personal information collected via our Site will only be accessible to us. Occasionally, we may request that you provide personal information relating to another individual (for instance, in our library license application form, we ask that you provide a contact person within your organisation/society). Please ensure that you have obtained the consent of the relevant individual before submitting any of their personal information to us.

We will retain your personal information only for so long as it is necessary for us to do so, having regard to the purpose for which it was collected or for any longer period as required by law.
Your rights to correct, access and amend your personal data
You are entitled to access or request the correction of any of the personal information that you have provided to us via the Site, and we would request that you do so if any of your details change. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before providing you access. To ensure that our records are up to date, we may contact you periodically and ask you to confirm that your details are still accurate.
