Filmbank launches Michel Rouxs Service to the Hospitality Industry | Wednesday, 16 November 2011

Filmbank Distributors Limited has launched a special DVD box set of the acclaimed TV series ‘Michel Roux’s Service’ to the hospitality industry. Previously only available on TV when it screened in early 2011, the box set is to be used as a useful resource for those training in hospitality service.

The series is made up of eight one-hour programmes and follows eight young candidates as they are mentored by Michel Roux Jr and a number of industry experts, including Fred Sirieix, in the art of good service.

The Academy of Food and Wine Service (AFWS), which was instrumental in the making of the series, has produced a special training pack to work alongside each episode of the programme available at www.afws.co.uk/training.

Prices start from £161 for educational institutions and £416 for commercial organisations for a one-year copyright licence which allows multi-screening of the programmes within a property. A 15% discount is currently available for all completed order forms submitted before 15 December 2011.

Majella Griffin, General Manager, Filmbank says, “This fascinating series is not only highly entertaining; it is a fantastic blueprint for anyone in the hospitality industry striving for excellence in service.”
