For £150 excluding VAT per coach you are covered to show movies from a wide range of studios including but not limited to Warner Bros. Sony Pictures, Pathé and Eros International. For a full list of participating studios please click here.

The annual licence allows companies to screen their own legitimately acquired Blu-ray, DVD or VHS copies of films to passengers on board for all Filmbank's participating studios. The annual licence runs from 1st February to 31st January on a non pro-rata basis.

Under UK copyright law, a coach or bus wishing to play a film in public will generally require the consent (licence) of the copyright owner before doing so. ‘In public’ means, broadly speaking, to an audience outside of his/her domestic or home circle. If the coach or bus does not obtain the required licence they risk infringing copyright.

So, in nearly all cases, if you are playing films outside your domestic or home circle, you will need to obtain a licence to do so. Please ensure you are showing your films within the law and your coach or bus is screening films legitimately.

The Public Video Screening Licence (PVSL)
Please note that Coach and Bus operators may only obtain a Public Video Screening Licence (PVSL) if their vehicle(s) have one overhead/single screen.
